Back in 2000 I wanted to move to South Africa with my partner.
He was South African and I was not.
I wanted to work but gaining a work permit (married or not) was very complicated back then. After months of research and pavement walking I found an IT company to sponsor me and headed back to Melbourne (where I had been living) to search for work to support me while I waited the six months for the visa.
In my search for work I got two interviews – one for an international IT company and one for a mining company.
I really wanted that IT job – however I got offered the Mining job.
It turned out to be the best thing that happened to me…
This company’s head office was in Melbourne, however there were 2 satellite offices – one in Perth where my family were and one in… Cape Town where my partner was working!
How does it get better than this?
The man who was setting up the office in Cape Town was coming out two weeks after I started so I met him, and we started making plans for how I could help him.
How does it get better than this?
Cape Town is a very large city, at the time about 3 million people and several Universities. It just so happened he was running the office from the very same University my partner worked, one with several campuses and main campus spread out forever.
However it turned out this company was being run out of an office in the very next door building to my partner.
How does it get better than this?
The long, arduous and complicated work permit that took 6 months – and by this point still had 4 months to run – wasn’t the only way I could work in South Africa.
It turned out I could get a company transfer with ease in just 2 months!

Through this unexpected miracle, I manifested a way to live in South Africa with my partner with EASE for the last 24 years.
Now as we move into retirement we’re working on a new manifestation.
This is just one manifestation against all odds I have been able to create in my life…
And my aim is to use my EASE philosophy to bring about a life of EASE for everyone who works with me.
On this journey I have learnt so much, particularly about manifestation, where many of us go wrong here, try to hard and get the opposite of what we are wanting or just leave it up to chance and wonder why it’s such a struggle to get the life we want.
